Reference is made to the Company’s announcements dated 31 May 2013, 5 June 2013 and 30 August 2013, in relation to the Proposals (“Announcements”). Further to the Company's announcement dated 14 October 2013, the Board of Directors wishes to inform that MNC ("Plaintiff") has commenced legal action against Ho Jo Hun and Yap Sheau Chiann ("Defendants") in the Shah Alam High Court for a declaration that their requisition for the Extraordinary General Meeting ("EGM") dated 26 September 2013 is invalid, null and void and that they are not entitled to convene any EGM pursuant to Section 144 of the Companies Act, 1965. MNC has also commenced legal action against the Defendants for conspiracy (between the Defendants and such other parties whose identities are yet unknown to the Plaintiff and further particulars will be put forth after discovery) to injure the Plaintiff.
