Reference is made to the announcement dated 11 October 2013 in relation to the Proposed Acquisition (“Announcement”). Unless otherwise stated, all defined terms in this announcement shall carry the same meanings as defined in the said Announcement. On behalf of the Board of Directors of FGV, CIMB Investment Bank Berhad is pleased to announce that KPF had, vide its letter dated 27 October 2013 informed the Company that the KPF delegates had in the EGM held on 27 October 2013 approved the proposal to sell 112,199,999 ordinary shares of RM1.00 each in FHB representing 51% equity interest in FHB to FGV for a consideration of RM2.2 billion or RM19.61 per share to be satisfied in cash, subject to the approval of the Cooperative Commission of Malaysia and/or any other relevant authority (if required) and in adherence to the principles of Shariah. This announcement is dated 28 October 2013.
