The Company wishes to make an announcement on the joint venture agreement between Majuperak Bio Resources Sdn Bhd, ("MPB") a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Company with Tetap Murni Sdn Bhd ("TMSB") to produce bamboo based products . Both parties hereto have agreed to collaborate with each other on a joint venture basis by utilizing MPB’s advantages in having access to the bamboo concession area measuring approximately 4876.455 hectares at land identified as Petak 3 on part of the compartments known as 332,335,336,337,338,339,340,341,342,343,344,345,346,347,348,349,350 and 353 at Hutan Simpan Hijau, District of Hulu Perak, State of Perak Darul Ridzuan. TMSB will contribute its expertise and technology conditions involved in the production of the bamboo based products and undertake to utilize its technical knowhow in the production of the bamboo-based products such as bamboo toothpicks, bamboo skewers, bamboo chopsticks, bamboo blinds, bio char, pulp and activated carbon and in managing the sales and marketing thereof on a joint venture basis with MPB.
