DescriptionPROPOSED AMENDMENTS TO THE ARTICLES OF ASSOCIATION

Petron Malaysia Refining & Marketing Bhd (formerly known as Esso Malaysia Berhad) (“PMRMB”) wishes to announce that it will hold its 54th Annual General Meeting on Friday May 31, 2013. At the said Annual General Meeting, apart from the ordinary business, a Special Resolution will be tabled for proposed amendments to the Articles of Association of PMRMB, to be approved by the shareholders. These proposed amendments however are solely for the purpose of bringing the Articles of Association to be in line with the amendments to Chapter 7 of the Main Market Listing Requirements of Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad.

PMRMB's Annual Report (containing the Notice of the said Annual General Meeting) and a Circular to Shareholders (on the above mentioned proposed amendments to the Articles of Association), will be despatched to shareholders in due course.

This announcement is dated April 12, 2013.
