| Description | Pursuant to the announcement dated 1st and 30th Aug, 27th Sept & 1st Nov 2012, the Board of Directors of Emico wish to announce that as at todate we have yet to receive extension of time from the lenders for the 85,000 units of Redeemable Secured Loan Stocks (RSLS) which is due and payable on 30 July 2012 amounted RM8,500,000. Emico had on 26th November 2012 received full payment amounted to RM8.6 million from disposal of 455 units of land titles in the announcement dated 3 August 2012. The net proceeds after deducting related expenses amounted to RM8.277 million shall be used as partial redemption of the outstanding RSLS. In accordance the the undertaking given by the Chargor, Malaysian Trustees Berhad, the distribution of proceeds to loan stock holders can only be carried out after 30 days holding period (i.e 30 Dec 2012) in order for all the 455 land titles to be presented by the Purchaser to the relevant land office. This announcement is dated 29th November 2012. |
