The Return by Liquidator Relating to Final Meeting of the respective Subsidiaries was lodged on�30 November 2012 with the Companies Commission of Malaysia and the Official Receiver, and on the expiration of 3 months after the said lodgement date, the Subsidiaries will be dissolved.

The Company had at its last AGM held on 27 March 2012, obtained the shareholders’ approval for the Company to purchase up to ten per cent (10%) of the issued and paid-up share capital of P&O for the time being on Bursa Securities.The authority to undertake the Proposed Share Buy-back shall lapse at the conclusion of the next AGM.

Accordingly, the Directors announce that it has resolved to seek shareholders’ approval for a renewal of the authority to undertake the Proposed Share Buy-back at the forthcoming AGM.

A Share Buy-back Statement in relation to the above will sent to the shareholders in due course.

(2)������Proposed Amendments to Articles of Association

The Company shall submit to its shareholders a proposal to amend its Articles of Association at�its forthcoming AGM.
