Referring to a reported article published on page 10 of The Edge weekly dated 29 October to 4 November 2012, the Board of Directors of MEGB wishes to announce that it had deliberated and considered various options in order to enhance the shareholders’ value as announced on 24 October 2012 (Reference No. CM-121024-40537) including the proposals on the assets disposal and other corporate proposals as reported in the said article. However, as the date of this announcement, the Company had not made any firm decisions as all proposals are still under evaluation. The Company will make the appropriate announcement to Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad (“Bursa Malaysia”) in a timely manner in accordance with the Main Market Listing Requirements of Bursa Malaysia should there be any further development on the said matters.
