Description	Proposed acquisition by AmG Insurance Berhad, a 51%-owned subsidiary of AMMB Holdings Berhad, from Kurnia Asia Berhad (now known as KSK Group Berhad) of 100% equity interest in Kurnia Insurans (Malaysia) Berhad for a total cash purchase consideration of RM1.55 billion
We refer to our announcements dated 12 April 2012, 18 July 2012 and 7 September 2012 in respect of the conditional sale and purchase agreement (“SPA”) entered into between AmG Insurance Berhad (“AmG”) and Kurnia Asia Berhad (now known as KSK Group Berhad) (“KAB”) for the proposed acquisition by AmG from KAB of 100% equity interest in Kurnia Insurans (Malaysia) Berhad. Further to our announcement dated 7 September 2012, we wish to inform that AmG and KAB have via a supplemental letter dated 12 September 2012, mutually agreed to further extend the cut-off date for fulfilment of the conditions precedent in Clause 3.1 of the SPA to 19 September 2012 (the “Extended Cut-Off Date”). Save for the Extended Cut-Off Date, all other terms of the SPA and the supplemental letters dated 18 July 2012 and 7 September 2012 shall remain unchanged. This announcement is dated 12 September 2012. �
