| Description | IDEAL SUN CITY HOLDINGS BERHAD (“IDEAL” OR THE “COMPANY”) REVISION IN UTILISATION OF REGULARISATION PLAN PROCEEDS |
The Board of Directors of IDEAL (“Board”) wishes to inform that after taking into consideration of the current business needs of IDEAL and its subsidiaries (“Group”) and in the best interest of the Group, the Board has resolved to revise the utilisation of RM1.25 million out of the total proceeds of RM11.8 million raised pursuant to the Company’s regularisation plan which was completed on 8 May 2014. The said amount was originally to be utilised for rental and renovation for the purpose of establishing a corporate office for the Company in the Klang Valley and has yet to be utilised. The said amount shall be revised to be utilised to part fund the acquisition of twelve (12) units of stratified commercial space comprised in four (4) units of three (3)-storey shopoffices located at Lot 70096 held under Pajakan Negeri 8585, Mukim 12, Daerah Barat Daya, Pulau Pinang (“Acquisition”). The details of the Acquisition are set out in the Company’s circular to shareholders dated 18 December 2014 and was approved by the shareholders of the Company at the extraordinary general meeting duly held on 9 January 2015. The utilisation of the remainder of the proceeds of the regularisation plan are unchanged. The revision in the utilisation of proceeds does not require the approval of Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad, any other regulatory authorities or the shareholders of the Company. This announcement is dated 15 January 2015.
