Genting Plantations Berhad ("the Company") wishes to inform that it has acquired the entire issued and paid-up share capital of Zillionpoint Vision Sdn Bhd comprising two (2) ordinary shares of RM1.00 each for a cash consideration of RM2/- ("Acquisition") on 15 January 2015 as an investment holding company. The aforesaid new subsidiary was incorporated on 1 October 2014. None of the directors and/or major shareholders of the Company and/or persons connected with them has any interest, direct or indirect, in the Acquisition. The aforesaid new subsidiary is not expected to have any effect on the group's profit for 2015. This announcement is dated 15 January 2015. | |
