Reference is made to the previous announcement dated 29 December 2009 in relation to the Letter of Award from Petronas Lubricants International Sdn. Bhd. (“Petronas Lubricants International”) to Handal Engineering Sdn. Bhd. (“HESB”), a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Company, to provide engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning of 22 numbers of new Storage Tanks at Melaka Lube Blending Plant on 22 March 2010. The Company is pleased to announce that HESB has received an addendum to the agreement from Petronas Lubricants International to extend the Contract. The extension period shall be effective from 9 December 2014 for a period of nine (9) months at approximate value of RM4,500,000.00 (Ringgit Malaysia: Four Million and Five Hundred Thousand Only). The Contract is expected to contribute positively to revenue and earnings and net assets per share of the HRB Group for the financial year ending 31 December 2014 and the following year(s) where the contract continues to take effect. The risks associated with the Contract are normal operational risks which can be mitigated through HRB system of project management and internal business controls.
