We refer to our announcement dated 2 September 2014.

The Company wishes to clarify that the Johor State Government has, pursuant to a notice given in the form of a Form K of the Land Acquisition Act 1960 ("the Act") dated 30 July 2014 (which was received on 2 September 2014), compulsorily acquired 3.853 acres of land owned by the Company held under HSD 1396 PTD 257, Mukim Ulu Sg. Sedili Besar, Daerah Kota Tinggi ("the Subject Land") pursuant to section 3(1) of the Act for the proposed water catchment area for the supply of water to Pengerang Integrated Petrochemical Complex (IPC) for the Johor Water Regulating Body (BAKAJ). The Subject Land forms part of the 1010.27 acres of land held under the aforesaid title.

Further, the Company had also on 2 September 2014 received a written notice (Form E of the Act) from Pentadbir Tanah Negeri Johor to attend an inquiry to be held on 4 November 2014 in relation to the acquisition of the Subject Land. The Company intends to submit a claim for compensation in accordance with the Act and attend the inquiry, and will make further announcement in due course.
