Further to the announcement made on 25 November 2013 in relation to the Proposed Regularisation Plan, M&A Securities Sdn Bhd, on behalf of the Board of Directors of Octagon, wishes to announce that YEM Holding Company W.L.L. (“YEM”) and KNM Renewable Energy Sdn Bhd (“KNMRE”) have respectively on 23 April 2014 and 25 April 2014 accepted the proposed settlement arrangement and revised distribution pursuant to Octagon’s Proposed Debt Settlement Scheme (“Settlement Arrangement”). YEM and KNMRE will hereinafter be collectively referred to as “Institutional Creditors”. The Proposed Debt Settlement Scheme is part of the Company’s regularisation plan to address the Group’s financial conditions (as announced on 25 November 2013) and subject to, inter-alia, the approval of the relevant authorities, to uplift the Company from being an affected listed issuer pursuant to Practice Note 17 of the Main Market Listing Requirements of Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad.
