| Description | PAN MALAYSIA CAPITAL BERHAD (“PM CAP” OR “THE COMPANY”) APPEAL AGAINST BURSA MALAYSIA SECURITIES BERHAD’S (“BURSA SECURITIES”) DECISION TO SUSPEND AND DE-LIST THE SECURITIES OF PM CAP (“APPEAL”) |
We refer to the Company’s announcement dated 4 April 2014 wherein it was announced that Bursa Securities had vide its letter dated 4 April 2014 noted that the Company had failed to make the requisite announcement by 25 February 2014 and the Company’s application for an extension of time to make the requisite announcement and to submit the regularisation plan was rejected, as communicated by Bursa Securities to the Company on 4 April 2014. Pursuant to Paragraph 8.04(5) of the Main Market Listing Requirements of Bursa Securities:- a) the trading in the securities of the Company will be suspended with effect from 14 April 2014; and b) the securities of the Company will be de-listed on 16 April 2014 unless an appeal is submitted to Bursa Securities on or before 11 April 2014 (“the Appeal Timeframe”). Any appeal submitted after the Appeal Timeframe will not be considered by Bursa Securities. Pursuant thereto, the Board of Directors of PM CAP wishes to announce that an appeal has been submitted to Bursa Securities on its decision to suspend the trading of the securities of the Company and de-listing of the securities of the Company from the Official List of Bursa Securities. This announcement is dated 11 April 2014.
