We refer to the announcement dated 13 December 2013 in relation to the Offer. The Board of Directors of VCB wishes to inform that VCB has today received the attached press notice from MIDF Investment, on behalf of the Joint Offerors notifying that the Registrar has on 19 December 2013 informed that the VCB Shares received by the Joint Offerors (which are subject to verification) on the Final Closing Date is 1,243,100 VCB Shares instead of 418,100 VCB Shares. The difference of 825,000 VCB Shares was due to acceptances for the said 825,000 VCB Shares of which the Forms of Acceptance together with contract statements received pending Transfer of Securities Request Forms (FTF010) were inadvertently omitted in their report. The revised level of acceptances of the Offer as at 5.00 p.m. (Malaysian time) on 13 December 2013 is set out in the Appendix of the press notice.
