Remarks :- Reference is made to MBSB’s announcement dated 10 October 2013, 25 October 2013, 19 November 2013, 24 November 2013 and 10 December 2013 (“Earlier Announcements”) and the circular dated 25 November 2013 (“Circular”) in relation to the Proposed Rights Issue. Unless otherwise stated, defined terms in this announcement shall carry the same meanings as defined in the Earlier Announcements and Circular.
The last date for the Warrant Holders to submit their duly completed Warrant’s subscription form together with the subscription monies to exercise their Warrants into MBSB Shares in order for the said MBSB Shares to be credited into their respective depositors’ securities account and for their name to appear in the Record of Depositors prior to the Entitlement Date of 26 December 2013 is on 16 December 2013.
The subscription form is to be submitted to the MBSB’s registrar, Equiniti Services Sdn Bhd at Level 8, Menara MIDF, 82 Jalan Raja Chulan, 50200 Kuala Lumpur.
The Warrants Holders who do not exercise their Warrants by 5.00 p.m. on 16 December 2013 and subsequently whose names appear in the Register of Warrant Holders by 5.00 p.m. on the Entitlement Date shall accordingly not be entitled to the Rights Issue and their Warrants be subjected to the Adjustment.
For illustrative purposes, Warrant Holders holding 1,000 Warrants will have the number of Warrants adjusted to 1,161 Warrants from the existing 1,000 Warrants held.
Any adjustment to the number of Warrants held by each Warrant Holder will be rounded down to the nearest whole Warrant.
A notice setting out the Adjustments will be despatched to the Warrant Holders in due course.
The final number of additional warrants to be issued and allotted will depend on the number of unexercised Warrants on 26 December 2013 and shall be listed and quoted simultaneously with the Rights Shares.

refer to the previous announcements made in relation to the Offer. On
behalf of IOI Plantation, RHB Investment Bank Berhad wishes to announce that, IOI Plantation had received valid acceptances for
442,977,091 Offer Shares from the holders of the Offer Shares, resulting in IOI
Plantation holding 94.06% of the voting shares of Unico (including those Unico
Shares which were already acquired or held by IOI Plantation) as at 5.00 p.m.
(Malaysian time) on 11 December 2013. Consequently, the Offer has been accepted
by the holders of not less than nine-tenth (9/10) in the nominal value of the
Offer Shares. In
addition, IOI Plantation will proceed to invoke
Section 222 of the Capital Markets and Services Act, 2007 to compulsorily
acquire any remaining Offer Shares for which valid acceptances have not been
received within two (2) months from the date of this announcement, following
which necessary steps will be taken to delist Unico. The holders of Offer
Shares shall be notified in the manner prescribed under the Malaysian Code on
Take-Overs and Mergers 2010 accordingly. The
Offer will remain open for acceptances until 5.00 p.m. (Malaysian
time) on Monday, 16 December 2013. The
level of acceptances of the Offer as at 5.00 p.m. (Malaysian time) on 11
December 2013 is set out in the attached press notice ("Press Notice"). Please
refer to the attached Press Notice for further details.
