The Board of Directors of the Company wishes to announce that the Company is still in the midst of formulating its regularisation plan. AmInvestment Bank Berhad has been appointed as the Company's Adviser for the submission of the regularisation plan to Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad. Any further development on the regularisation plan will be announced accordingly. The Company has approximately another six (6) months to submit its regularisation plan to the relevant authorities for approval. This announcement is dated 3 July 2013. | |

Further to MMC’s announcement dated 22 December 2011, we wish to announce that the final meeting for the creditors’ voluntary winding-up of MMC Power Sdn. Berhad (“the Company”), an indirect wholly-owned dormant subsidiary of MMC, was duly held on 1 July 2013. Pursuant to Section 272(5) of the Companies Act 1965, the Company would be dissolved after the expiry of three (3) months from the date of lodgement of Form 69 (the Return by Liquidator Relating to Final Meeting) on 2 July 2013 with the Registrar of Companies and the Official Receiver. As such, the Company would be dissolved with effect from 2 October 2013 and hence shall accordingly cease to be a subsidiary of MMC. The dissolution of the Company will not have any material effect on the earnings or net assets of the MMC Group for the financial year ending 31 December 2013. None of the Directors and/or major shareholders of MMC and/or persons connected to them have any interest, direct or indirect, in the said dissolution. This announcement is dated 3 July 2013. | |
