PROPOSED PRIVATE PLACEMENT

We refer to the announcements dated 22 March 2013, 26 March 2013 and 29 May 2013 in relation to the Proposed Private Placement (“Announcements”). Unless stated otherwise, the abbreviations used hereafter throughout this announcement shall have the same meanings as defined in the Announcements.

On behalf of the Board of Directors of Asdion, Hong Leong Investment Bank Berhad (formerly known as MIMB Investment Bank Berhad) (“HLIB”) is pleased to announce that Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad (“Bursa Securities”) had via its approval letter dated 28 May 2013, which was received on 30 May 2013, approved the listing and quotation of up to 7,700,000 new ordinary shares of RM0.10 each, representing up to 10% of the issued and paid-up share capital of Asdion (excluding treasury shares) to be issued pursuant to the Proposed Private Placement, subject to the following conditions:

(i) Asdion and HLIB must fully comply with the relevant provisions under the Bursa Securities' ACE Market Listing Requirements pertaining to the implementation of the Proposed Private Placement;

(ii) Asdion and HLIB to inform Bursa Securities upon the completion of the Proposed Private Placement; and

(iii) Asdion to furnish Bursa Securities with a written confirmation of its compliance with the terms and conditions of Bursa Securities’ approval once the Proposed Private Placement is completed.

This announcement is dated 30 May 2013.

Trial dates

1) The Trial has not commenced.

2) The previous trial dates are 12 December and 13 December 2012, but was vacated by the court.

3) The Trial date on 10 June and 11 June 2013 has been vacated by the court. The matter is now set for case management before the Deputy Registrar on 5 June 2013.

Further announcement on the development of the above matter will be made to Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad in due course.
