Telekom Malaysia Berhad (“TM”) wishes to announce that on 6 March 2013, TM Facilities Sdn Bhd (“TMF”), a wholly owned subsidiary of TM has through its solicitors, been served with a Writ and Statement of Claim by the Plaintiffs, Menara Intan Langkawi Sdn Bhd and HBA Development Bhd (“the Plaintiffs”), through their solicitors. The Plaintiffs’ claim is premised upon an alleged wrongful termination of an Agreement to Lease dated 14 August 2003 between Menara Intan Langkawi Sdn Bhd and TMF. The Agreement to Lease is in relation to the proposed Menara Intan Langkawi Project to be undertaken by Menara Intan Langkawi Sdn Bhd at the Mukim of Kuah, Langkawi, Kedah. The Plaintiffs are seeking for the following:- (a) Damages in respect of loss of profit of RM168,701,922.00; (b) Damages in respect of works and expenses of RM86,298,078.60; (c) Damages in respect of the value of a land measuring 28.49 acres of RM80,600,000.00; (d) General Damages; (e) Interests; and (f) Costs. The Court has fixed 18 March 2013 for case management of the legal suit. TMF is currently seeking the advice of its solicitors. Save for management cost and legal expenses, the legal suit has no financial or operational impact on TM at present. TM is currently collating the relevant information in order to make an assessment of any expected losses arising from the legal suit. Further announcement will be made on any material development. This announcement is dated 6 March 2013.

Ms. Anna Wong later obtained Professional Diploma in Personal Financial Planning from The Open University of Hong Kong in year 2004.
Working experience and occupation	In July 1997 to May 2004, she held various positions in HSBC Hong Kong i.e. Customer Service Officer, Customer Service Manager and Customer Relationship Manager. From May 2004 to September 2005, she was with HSBC Private Bank, Singapore as an Assistant Vice President. From November 2005 to March 2009, she worked as an Associate Director with UBS AG, Hong Kong. Presently, she is a Project Consultant who provides corporate advice and investment management advice to corporate on a project basis.
