With reference to our announcement dated 23 March 2009, Naim Holdings Berhad wishes to announce that the 2 Writs of Summons and Statements of Claim from 4 persons collectively claiming against wholly owned subsidiary, Naim Land Sdn. Bhd. (formerly known as Naim Cendera Sdn. Bhd.) the Superintendent of Land & Survey, Miri Division and the State Government of Sarawak, to have Native Customary Rights (“NCR”) over an area of approximately 38 acres within the land described as Lot 3247, Block 11 Kuala Baram Land District, Miri Sarawak, was dismissed by the High Court in a ruling today, 14 March 2013. We are delighted with the outcome of the court case and we hope that the case will deter people from pursuing this type of claim against rightful landowners. Dated this 15 March 2013
