Working experience and occupation He has served the Government for more than thirty-five (35) years in various departments within the Ministry of Finance. He began his career with the Ministry of Finance in the Administration Division from 1972 to 1975, Budget Division (1975-1981 and 1987-1993), Finance and Loans Division (1981-1982) and Economics and International Division (1983-1986). From 1993 to 1999, he was seconded to Kuala Lumpur International Airport Berhad a company under the Minister of Finance Inc as the General Manager of the Administration Division and Company Secretary. During his tenure in Kuala Lumpur International Airport Berhad, he was exposed to the operations of the private sector as well as the management of a mega project. In 1999 to 2003, he returned to the Ministry of Finance and held the position as Director, Budget Division. In 2003, he was appointed as the Secretary General of the Ministry of Works. In his one (1) year tenure with the Ministry of Works, he coordinated the formulation of policies in respect of the responsibilities of the Ministry of Works. Subsequently in 2004, he was promoted as Secretary General of Treasury, Ministry of Finance where he coordinated the overall formulation of policies under the Ministry of Finance. He retired from Government service in March 2007.

He has previously served on a number of boards, includes amongst others, Chairman of Kumpulan Wang Persaraan, Group Chairman of Syarikat Prasarana Negara Berhad, Chairman of Rapid Penang Sdn Bhd, Chairman of Cyberview Sdn Bhd, Chairman of Syarikat Pembinaan BLT Sdn Bhd, Non-Independent Non-Executive Director of Petronas, Malaysia Airlines System Bhd, Perbadanan Insuran Deposit Malaysia, Bank Negara Malaysia, Syarikat Bekalan Air Selangor, Uda Holdings Berhad, Malaysia Airports Holdings Berhad, Bintulu Port Sdn Bhd and Kuala Lumpur International Airport Berhad. His international stint also includes board membership in the International Islamic Trade Finance Corporation, a subsidiary of the Islamic Development Bank, based in Jeddah.

He is currently the Chairman of Sarawak Hidro Sdn Bhd, the developer of the Bakun Hydroelectric Project, Bina Mashor Sdn Bhd, Proven Construction & Development Sdn Bhd and Prima Gading Sdn Bhd as well as a Director/Advisor of several private limited companies.

We refer to the announcement dated 27 November 2012.

CIMB, on behalf of KLCCP, wishes to announce that KLCCP and KLCC REIT Management (the proposed management company of KLCC REIT), have submitted an initial listing application to Bursa Securities today for the proposed admission of KLCC REIT to the Official List and the listing of and quotation for 1,805,333,083 Stapled Securities comprising Units to be stapled together with KLCCP Shares on the Main Market of Bursa Securities.

In addition, CIMB, on behalf of KLCCP, wishes to announce that an application to the SC (Authorisation and Licensing Department) has been submitted today for KLCC REIT Management to be a holder of a Capital Markets Services License and to have at least two representatives with the Capital Markets Representative’s Services License.
