Further to the announcements made on 15 October 2010 and 19 October 2010, BPHB wishes to announce that the Service Agreement entered into between Baoman, an indirect wholly-owned subsidiary of BPHB and Mr. Channarith Saram in relation to the application for economic concession rights for land in the Kingdom of Cambodia has lapsed. Due to longer than expected application process, BPHB has decided not to continue with the Service Agreement. Both BPHB and Mr. Channarith Saram had agreed not to continue the Service Agreement and to allow the said Agreement to lapse. There is no liability whatsoever assumed by Boaman following the lapse of the said Service Agreement. Following the lapse of the Service Agreement, the Letter of Intent entered into between BPPlas Plantation Sdn. Bhd., a wholly-owned subsidiary of BPHB with Kosmo Tropika Sdn. Bhd. for the establishment of a joint venture to undertake the business of agriculture investment in the Kingdom of Cambodia upon Baoman’s successful application of its concession rights as announced on 8 November 2010 has also lapsed. This announcement is dated on 27 February 2013.
