On behalf of the Board of Directors of Unico-Desa, MIDF Amanah Investment Bank Berhad wishes to announce the following: (1) a total of 86,497,815* ELK-Desa Resources shares will be distributed to the entitled shareholders of Unico-Desa as at the entitlement date of 19 November 2012, pursuant to the Distribution; and (2) as at 5.00 p.m. on 6 December 2012, being the last time and date for acceptance excess application and payment for the Restricted Offer Shares ("Closing Date"), Unico-Desa received a total valid acceptances and excess applications of 17,623,515 Restricted Offer Shares which represents a subscription rate of 130.52% over the total number of 13,502,185** Restricted Offer Shares available for subscription pursuant to the Restricted Offer for Sale.
