Query Letter content: We refer to your Company's announcement dated 22 August 2011 in respect of the
aforesaid Proposed Acquisition.
In this connection, kindly furnish Bursa Securities with the following
additional information for public release:-
(1) Current use of the land;
(2) Whether any valuation was carried out on the land, if so, the following:-
(i) Name of the independent, registered valuer;
(ii) Date and method of valuation;
(iii) Quantification of the market value; and
(iv) Time and place where the valuation report may be inspected.
(3) Justification for the purchase consideration;
(4) Particulars of all liabilities, including contingent liabilities and
guarantees to be assumed by United Malayan Land Berhad, arising from the
Proposed Acquisition;
(5) Name of the Proposed Development or an appropriate negative statement;
(6) Number of units in each type of the development;
(7) The expected commencement and completion date(s) of the development;
(8) The expected profits to be derived;
(9) Whether relevant approvals for the development have been obtained and
date(s) obtained;
(10) The total amount transacted with the same related party for the preceding
12 months; and
(11) Whether the Proposed Acquisition is subject to shareholders' approval.
