Contents: We refer to our announcements dated 19 July 2010 in relation to the Rights Issue with Warrants.
On behalf of the Company, M&A Securities Sdn Bhd is pleased to announce that at the close of acceptance, excess application and payment for the Rights Issue with Warrants as at 5.00 p.m. on 18 August 2010 ("Closing Date"), Biosis received valid acceptances and excess applications for a total of 38,875,094 Rights Shares together with the Warrants. This represents a subscription level of 194.37% of the total number of Rights Shares available under the Rights Issue with Warrants.
Details of valid acceptances and excess applications received as at the Closing Date are stated in Table 1 below.
Accordingly, 429,549 excess Rights Shares together with the Warrants will be allotted pursuant to excess application in accordance with the basis as stated in the Abridged Prospectus dated 3 August 2010 in relation to the Rights Issue with Warrants.
The Rights Shares and Warrants are expected to be listed on the Main Market of Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad on 1 September 2010.
