The Company wishes to announce that in relation to Civil Appeal No. S-02(IM)-596-10, Lim Cher Seng and 2 others have filed an application for leave to appeal to the Federal Court against the decision of the Court of Appeal dismissing the Injunction.
In a separate development under the Originating Petition No. S-26-01 of 2010, the Sandakan High Court has fixed Yap Phing Cern and 6 others' application for Striking Out (Order 18, rule 19 and Order 92 rule 4 of the Rules of High Court) for hearing on the 19 August 2010.
The Court further directed that the Trial dates scheduled for the matter on 8 & 9 September 2010 and 7 & 8 October 2010 are vacated.
The Company will make the necessary announcements on further developments on these matter in due course.
