The terms used herein shall, unless the context otherwise stated, bear the same meaning as those defined in the earlier announcements. The Mission Petition was heard and struck out by the High Court with cost on 9 May 2013 on the ground that the petition was not only without basis and therefore frivolous and vexatious, but also a clear abuse of process of court. MBSB had filed for leave to appeal to the Federal Court against the order of the court striking out the Mission Petition after the Court of Appeal had dismissed MBSB’s appeal on 5 January 2015 with cost of RM20,000.00 to be paid to KNMPS. On 13 May 2015, the Federal Court finally dismissed Mission’s leave application with cost of RM10,000.00 awarded to KNMPS. This case has now been completely closed in KNMPS’s favour. This announcement is dated 14 May 2015. |
