As previously announced on 9 March 2015, Protasco Berhad’s
subsidiary, Protasco Trading Sdn Bhd (“PTSB”)
has filed a legal suit at the Shah Alam High Court against PT Goldchild
Integritas Abadi (“PT Goldchild”), an Indonesian company
and Ooi Kock Aun for inter-alia a declaration that the Coal Supply Agreement
dated 04 February 2013 is void and in breach of the Companies Act, 1965 and for
a refund of the Deposit paid. Ooi Kock Aun had on 05 March 2015 filed an application to strike out PTSB’s legal suit. No hearing date is fixed for this application. PT Goldchild had on 12 April 2015 entered their appearance. Protasco
Berhad wishes to announce that a case management date of this legal suit is
fixed on 11 May 2015 for parties to obtain further directions.
