RHB Banking Group wishes to announce that the Board of RHB Capital Berhad ("RHB Capital") had, at its meeting held on even date, formally accepted with regret, the resignation of Mr Kellee Kam Chee Khiong ("Mr Kellee Kam") as Group CEO / Group MD.
Mr Kellee Kam’s resignation as Group CEO will take effect from 4 May 2015. He will also retire as the MD of RHB Capital pursuant to Article 80 of the Company’s Articles of Association at the forthcoming 20th Annual General Meeting (“AGM”) to be scheduled tentatively in April 2015 and he will cease office as Group MD / MD of RHB Capital at the conclusion of the 20th AGM.
The Board of RHB Capital has at the same time approved the appointment of the successor to the Group CEO / Group MD. An announcement in respect thereof will be made upon receipt of Bank Negara Malaysia's approval.
The Board further approved the appointment of YBhg Dato’ Khairussaleh Ramli, the current MD of RHB Bank Berhad / Deputy GMD to be the Acting Group CEO / Group MD, in the absence of Mr Kellee Kam, as the case may be.
