Reported:- “Time is running out for EcoFirst if it wants to secure the Ulu Kelang land. It might have to do another corporate exercise so that it can complete the acquisition,” an observer pointed out.” Clarification:- The Board wishes to clarify that the abovementioned article has misinterpreted the announcement dated 30 January 2015 in relation to the Proposed Acquisition. The Company wishes to highlight that the announcement dated 30 January 2015 should be read together with the announcement dated 31 December 2014, wherein it was announced that the time extension to pay in full the Balance Purchase Consideration is due to clarification and information pending from the relevant authorities on a planned elevated highway which, may affect certain parts of the Lands. As such, certain parts of the Lands may potentially be subject to land acquisition pursuant to the Land Acquisition Act, 1960.
