Remarks :

The Bonus Issue will entail the issuance of 78,257,295 Bonus Shares to be credited as fully paid-up on the basis of one (1) Bonus Share for every two (2) SBC Shares held by the entitled shareholders of SBC on the Entitlement Date. The Bonus Shares will be listed and quoted on the Main Market of Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad ("Bursa Securities") on 5 November 2014, being the next market day immediately after the Entitlement Date. On 30 September 2014, the shareholders of SBC have approved payment of 4.75% per SBC Share as the first and final single tier dividend in respect of the financial year ended 31 March 2014 at its Twenty-fourth (24th) Annual General Meeting ("Dividend"). The Dividend will be paid on 3 November 2014 to the shareholders of SBC whose names appear in the record of depositors of SBC as at 5.00 p.m. on 16 October 2014. As the entitlement date for the Dividend was prior to the date of allotment and issuance of the Bonus Shares, the Bonus Shares shall not be entitled to the Dividend. SBC's Share Registrar is expected to issue and despatch the notices of allotment for the Bonus Shares to the entitled shareholders of SBC not later than four (4) market days after the date of the listing of and quotation for the Bonus Shares on the Main Market of Bursa Securities.
