We refer to the announcement dated 3 October 2013 on the above matter. The terms herein shall bear the same meaning as defined in the said announcement. The Board of Directors wishes to inform that the Company and Black Sea have mutually agreed to extend the MOU period by another 2 months which shall expire on 3 March 2014. Black Sea had made a few site visits and sent their Merger and Acquisition team from 14 December 2013 to 18 December 2013 to undertake the evaluation of the proposed joint-ventures on Asia Pacific Trade & Expo City (“APTEC”) and Lakehill Resort development with the Company. Subsequently, Black Sea has requested for further time to study the massive APTEC project, which by itself has a gross floor area of 750,000 square metres. APTEC comprises different components such as hotels, convention halls, shopping malls, international tourist replica cities and factory discount outlet which required different strategy and business planning, in addition to the large development land bank of Lakehill Resort City project. Further announcement on any material development will be made as and when appropriate. This announcement is dated 3 January 2014. | |
