Further to our announcement dated 12 September 2013, KHSB wishes to announce further development on the above case involving SAP Holdings Berhad (“SAP”), a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Company. The solicitor for SAP attended the Case Management on 23 October 2013 whereby the counsel for Arbain & Co. had made an oral application to the Court for stay of the Hearing of SAP’s Application to set aside and to strike out Arbain & Co.’s ‘Notis Penetapan’ and ‘Bil Kos’ pending the disposal of Arbain & Co.’s Application for Extension of Time to file the Taxation of Bill of Costs. However, the Assistant Registrar disallowed the said oral application and directed Arbain & Co. to file a formal Application for Stay since SAP contested to the said oral application. In view of the above, the Court has fixed the next date on 21 November 2013 for Case Management for Arbain & Co. to file their Affidavit In Reply and also to file their formal Application for Stay.
