The Board wish to inform the following additional information:- On 31 July 2013, the Court was informed by the Plaintiff’s solicitors that they had just served an unsealed copy of an application to enter judgment by admission (“Order 27 application”). In view thereof, the Court fixed a case management date on 6 August 2013. On 31 July 2013, the Court also allowed the Plaintiff’s application to strike out Nakamichi Corporation Bhd’s counter-claim in the suit with liberty to file afresh and with no order as to costs. On 6 August 2013, the Court fixed the following directions for the Order 27 application:- (a) the Defendants are required to file their affidavit in reply by 20 August 2013; (b) the Plaintiff is required to file his affidavit in reply to the Defendants affidavit in reply by 27 August 2013; (c) all parties are required to file their submission by 3 September 2013; and (d) the application is fixed for hearing on 10 September 2013.
