Bintulu Port Holdings Berhad ("the Company") has issued the Letter of Acceptance Ref:( 118 )BHB/36.3/18 dated 16 July 2013 to Pekerjaan Piasau Konkerit Sdn. Bhd. – China Harbour Engineering Company Ltd. JV, ("the Contractor") Lot 515, Jalan Datuk Edward Jeli, Piasau Industrial Estate, 98008 Miri, Sarawak, Malaysia for the above contract based inter alia on the following terms and conditions:- 1. SCOPE OF CONTRACT The Construction And Completion Of The Proposed Samalaju Port Development Project At Samalaju, Bintulu, Sarawak, Malaysia (Breakwater And Associated Works Package For Phase 1 Works) 2. CONTRACT SUM The Contract Sum is Ringgit Malaysia: Three Hundred Five Million Nine Hundred Ninety Nine Thousand Nine Hundred Ninety Nine And Sen Ninety Three (RM305,999,999.93) Only. 3. DURATION OF CONTRACT The duration of this contract shall be thirty (30) months from the Notice to Commence Work which will be issued separately. 4. LIQUIDATED AND ASCERTAINED DAMAGES ("LAD") 0.0219% of the contract sum per calendar day shall be imposed as Liquidated and Ascertained Damages for each section for any delay in the performance of the above contract.
