Description	BINA GOODYEAR BERHAD (“BGB” or “the Company”) - Shah Alam High Court Winding-Up Petition No. 28-180-04/2013 between AmBank (M) Bhd (“ABB”) against BGB
Further to the Company’s announcement on 8 July 2013, the Board of Directors of BGB wishes to announce that BGB has been served by the Petitioner’s Solicitors with an order dated 20 June 2013 that Lim Tian Huat has been appointed as the provisional liquidator of the Company, pending the disposal of the Winding Up Petition filed by ABB. The Directors of the Company have instructed its solicitors to file the necessary application for the removal of the Provisional Liquidator, which the Directors believe to be unwarranted. The Directors of the Company are of the opinion that the above is not expected to have any material financial or operational impact as the Company is already conducting its affairs in a manner as to preserve the status quo amongst its creditors pending the implementation of the regularisation plan being formulated for the Group, which has been approved by the requisite majority of the Scheme Creditors at a court convened meeting. This announcement is dated 17 July 2013.
