The announcement made by the Company on 25 February 2013 refers. The Board of Directors of Selangor Properties Berhad (“SPB”) wishes to announce that Bungsar Hill Holdings Sdn Bhd (“BHH”), a wholly-owned subsidiary of SPB, has on 2 May 2013 entered into a Mutual Agreement (“the Agreement”) with Mass Rapid Corporation Sdn Bhd (“MRT Corp”), the party that will build and own the Mass Rapid Transit railway system for the Sungai Buloh – Kajang line (“SBK Line”). The SBK Line will have a MRT Station situated at the intersection between Jalan Maarof and Jalan Damansara at Pusat Bandar Damansara, known as Station 13. Under the Agreement, amongst others, BHH will be assisting MRT Corp in providing a Station Entrance to connect the said Land to Station 13, together with layby facilities for bus, taxi, drop off / pick up bays and handicapped car park bays and parking facilities and other facilities for the park and ride concept at Pusat Bandar Damansara. Following the Agreement, MRT Corp will be applying for the compulsory land acquisition for part of the said Land to be withdrawn. BHH will also withdraw the application for leave for judicial review for an order of certiorari to quash the notice of acquisition for part of the said Land in due course. The Agreement will not have any material effect on the earning per share, net assets, gearing and share capital of the Group. This announcement is dated 3 May 2013. | |
