We refer to our announcements made on 16 May 2012 and 4 October 2012 in relation to the above subject. Yung Kong Galvanising Industries Berhad (“YKGI” or “the Company”) wishes to announce that YKGI had on 19 December 2012 entered into a supplemental agreement (“SA dated 19 December 2012”) with Tecstun (M) Sdn. Bhd. (“TMSB”) to further extend the due date for payment of the final balance of the purchase price amounting to RM1,800,000 (“Final Balance Sum”) payable by TMSB in the following tranches: (i) In January, February and March 2013 - Ringgit Malaysia One Hundred and Fifty Thousand (RM150,000,00) per month; and (ii) In April, May and June 2013 - Ringgit Malaysia Four Hundred and Fifty Thousand (RM450,000.00) per month. In addition, pursuant to the SA dated 19 December 2012: (a) TMSB undertakes that YKGI shall be fully discharged from all the corporate guarantees provided to the banks latest by 30 June 2013; and (b) Mr Khor Teck Tun undertakes to be the guarantor for the Final Balance Sum due and payable by TMSB.
