The Board of Directors of Scicom (MSC) Berhad ("SCICOM" or "the Company") wishes to announce that the Company and Omar Shariff Bin Mydeen had on 18 November 2010 subscribed for 139,998 and 60,000 ordinary shares of RM1.00 each ("Shares") in the paid-up capital of SICSB for a total consideration of RM139,998 and RM60,000, respectively ("Subscription"). As such, the shareholdings structure of SICSB is 70% equity interest held by SCICOM whilst the remaining 30% equity interest is held by Omar Shariff Bin Mydeen. The Directors of SICSB are Krishnan A/L C K Menon, Leo Suresh Ariyanayakam and Omar Shariff Bin Mydeen.
SICSB was incorporated on 11 August 2010 under the Companies Act, 1965. The authorised share capital of SICSB is RM1,000,000.00 divided into 1,000,000 Shares of which 200,000 Shares have been issued and fully paid up. The intended principal activity of SICSB is to provide higher educational courses, academic training and certification.
The Subscription would not have any material effect on the share capital, shareholding structure, net assets and earnings of SCICOM.
