Contents: We act for and on behalf of JPK.
Further to the Company's announcement made on 17 August 2010, Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad ("Bursa Securities") had via its letters dated 26 August 2010 informed that after due consideration of all facts and circumstances of the matter and decided to reject the Company's Application for an Extension of Time to Submit the Regularisation Plan to the Relevant Authorities.
The trading in the securities of the Company will be suspended with effect from 6 September 2010 and the securities of JPK will be de-listed on 8 September 2010 unless an appeal is submitted to Bursa Securities on or before 3 September 2010 ("the Appeal Timeframe").
In the event the Company submits an appeal to Bursa Securities within the Appeal Timeframe, the removal of the securities of the Company from the Official list of Bursa Securities on 8 September 2010 shall be deferred pending the decision on JPK's appeal.
In view of this, JPK wishes to announce that the Company will be submitting the Appeal for the abovesaid Application within the Appeal Timeframe accordingly.
