Contents: Further to our announcement on 23 July 2010, See Hup Consolidated Berhad wishes to announce the following additional information :
1) The corporate guarantee and indemnity will be signed upon the drawdown of the Hire
Purchase facility by SH Haulage Sdn Bhd.
SH Haulage Sdn Bhd has yet to drawdown the facility as at the date hereof.
2) The audit committee formed such a view that the transaction is fair, reasonable and on normal commercial terms and not detrimental to the interest of the minority shareholders based on the basis that the hire purchase facility which is granted by RHB Bank Berhad to SH Haulage is made in the ordinary course of business, based on best negotiated terms from RHB Bank Berhad and is comparable to current market funding rates. It is therefore not necessary to seek any independent advice for the view.
The facility will provide SH Haulage Sdn Bhd a source of funding to expand its fleet of vehicles which will contribute to the Group's revenue.
