Reference is made to our previous announcement dated 18 February 2015. The abovementioned case was fixed today for Case Management for parties to update the Court on the State Government’s leave application at the Federal Court on the issue of locus standi of Syabas following its assignment to CIMB Investment Bank in a separate suit involving the State Government of Selangor and SYABAS.

In today’s proceeding, the Court was informed that the hearing of the leave application at the Federal Court  on 14 April 2015 was adjourned as parties have yet to receive the Grounds of Judgement from the Court of Appeal. Having heard the above, the Court has now fixed this matter for further Case Management on 29 June 2015. 

Perangsang Selangor will make the necessary announcement on further development of this matter in due course.

The Board of Directors of Malton (“Board”) is pleased to announce that Domain Resources Sdn Bhd (“DRSB”), a wholly-owned subsidiary of Malton had on 24 April 2015 accepted a letter of award from Impian Ekspresi Sdn Bhd  (“IESB”) (a company in which Tan Sri Lim Siew Choon, Executive Chairman of Malton is an indirect substantial shareholder), for construction works involving the site clearance, demolition, foundation, retaining wall system, basement car parks, retail podium and infrastructures (“Construction Works”) at Lot 54325, Jalan Damanlela, Off Lebuhraya Sprint, Pusat Bandar Damansara, Kuala Lumpur for a sum of approximately RM703 million.  A contract to formalise the scope and value of the Construction Works will be entered into between DRSB and IESB in due course.
