KLB wishes to announce that Maybank Investment Bank Berhad, on behalf of the Board of Directors of KLAS, has notified the holders of the Offer Shares that the closing time and date for acceptance of the Offer have been extended from 5.00 p.m. (Malaysian time) on Monday, 20 January 2014 to 5.00 p.m. (Malaysian time) on Friday, 28 February 2014, being the 60th day from the posting of the Offer Document ("Final Closing Date") in order to provide the remaining holders of the Offer Shares with additional time to accept the Offer.
As the Offer is unconditional as to acceptances, the closing date of the Offer shall not be later than the 60th day from the posting of the Offer Document. Accordingly the Offer cannot be extended any further and will close on the Final Closing Date.
