Further to the announcement made on 24 December 2013, Analabs Resources Berhad (“the Company”) wishes to announce that the trial for the case would commence in end February 2014. The Defendant has entered his defence and submitted a counter claim against the Plaintiffs for inter alia the following:- 1. The balance dividend of RM1,000,000.00 together with the overdue interest of the sum of RM96,430.14 as at 31 October 2013. 2. The Escrow amount of RM750,000.00 together with the interests thereon. 3. The guaranteed sum of RM12,699,204.01 as at 31 October 2013 for discharge of personal guarantees. 4. The sum of RM104,000.00 being the shortage of monthly salary of RM8,000.00 for 13 months. 5. The sum of RM126,464.78 being the commission and bonus for the 2nd -4th quarter of 2012. 6. The interest at the rate of 5% per annum of the above sums from 1 November 2013 until full settlement. 7. General damages, costs and other reliefs as the Court deems fit and proper. The Company has on 13 January 2014 filed the Reply and Defence to the Counterclaim. The Plaintiffs' solicitors are of the view that there are strong grounds to rebut and dismiss the Defendant's Counterclaim. The Company does not anticipate any adverse financial or operational impact from this trial.
