The Board of Directors of PLS Plantations Berhad ("Plaintiff or the Company") has been informed by its solicitor of the following update:- During the mention, our solicitors informed the High Court Judge that the Defendant has, by way of its letter dated 31 July 2013, applied for an adjournment of the remaining hearing dates in August 2013 as both solicitors in charge for the matter are unwell. The Arbitrator has yet to decide on the Defendant's application. In this respect, the High Court Judge has fixed this matter for a further mention on 25 October 2013 in order for parties to update the High Court in respect of the arbitration. This announcement is dated 5 August 2013.
