The Company wishes to inform that KNM Group Berhad (“KNM” or “the Company”) and its wholly-owned subsidiary, KNM Process Systems Sdn Bhd (“KNMPS”) had on 31 May 2013, served a Writ of Summons against the abovenamed Defendants to inter alia, claim for damages, including aggravated and/or exemplary damages suffered as a result of the winding up petition earlier served by Mission Biofuels Sdn Bhd (“MBSB”) against KNMPS which had on 9 May 2013 been struck out as the Court took the view that not only was the said petition without any basis, and therefore frivolous and vexatious, but also a clear abuse of the Court process. References to the said petition were made in our earlier announcements dated 22 April 2013, 24 April 2013 and 9 May 2013. This announcement is dated 7 June 2013.
