Further to the Company’s announcement made on 8 April 2013, 9 April 2013, 10 April 2013 and 19 April 2013 respectively in respect of the Winding-Up Petition under Section 219(1)(e) of the Companies Act, 1965, the Board of Directors of ENVAIR wishes to announce that the Company’s application to set aside the Judgment in Default granted to Dato’ Sri Ung Eng Huat by the Kuala Lumpur High Court on 13 December 2012 was disallowed by the Kuala Lumpur High Court on 4 June 2013. The Company does not expect any immediate financial or operational impact as a principal shareholder has paid the entire sum claimed for and on behalf of the Company on 5 June 2013. As such, Dato’ Sri Ung Eng Huat has withdrawn the Winding-Up Petition on 5 June 2013. This announcement is dated 5 June 2013. | |
