The Board of Directors of Cepatwawasan Group Berhad ("Company") is pleased to announce that its wholly-owned subsidiary, Hikayat Anggun Sdn. Bhd., has acquired for cash 100 shares of AUD$1 each at par representing the entire issued and paid up capital of Carbon Asia Pacific Pty Ltd ("CAP") from Dato’ Seri Mah King Thian @ Mah King Thiam and Mr. Rodger Gerard Fernandez (hereinafter referred to as the "Acquisition"). � CAP was incorporated on 20 January 2009 in Victoria, Australia with an authorised and paid up share capital of AUD$100 divided into 100 shares of AUD$1 each. � The directors of CAP are Dato’ Seri Mah King Thian @ Mah King Thiam and Mr. Leong Wing Yong. � CAP is currently a dormant company and its intended principal activity will be investment holding. � Except for Dato’ Seri Mah King Thian @ Mah King Thiam, the Executive Chairman of the Company who held 51% equity interest in CAP prior to the Acquisition, none of the remaining directors and/or substantial shareholders of the Company and/or persons connected to them have any interest, direct or indirect, in the above-mentioned Acquisition.
