Contents: 1. INTRODUCTION
Ingress Corporation Berhad ("Ingress") is pleased to announce that it had received Letter of Intents ("LOI") from Perusahaan Otomobil Nasional Sdn Bhd ("PROTON") in respect of the supply of the following parts for a new Proton model:
(i) Roof Drip Mouldings through Ingress' wholly-owned subsidiary Ingress Engineering Sdn Bhd ("IESB") - "Mouldings Project"; and
(ii) Door Sash through Ingress' ninety-per cent-owned subsidiary, Ingress Precision Sdn Bhd ("IPSB") - "Sash Project"
The above will be collectively referred to hereinafter as "the Projects".
2. THE PROJECTS
(i) Mouldings Project
The supply for this project shall commence by the fourth quarter of financial year ending 31 January 2012 for a duration of five (5) years. The project is expected to generate total revenue for IESB of RM7.5 million. Total investment for the project is estimated to be RM0.2 million in tooling.
(ii) Sash Project
Commencement of supply for this project is expected to be at the end of financial year ending 31 January 2012 with a project duration of five (5) years. The project is forecasted to generate total revenue for IPSB of approximately RM50 million whilst the total investment in tooling and equipment is expected to cost RM16 million.
3. DIRECTORS' AND SUBSTANTIAL SHAREHOLDERS' INTERESTS
None of the Directors and/or substantial shareholders' of Ingress or persons connected to them has any interests, direct or indirect, in the Supply.
4. DIRECTORS' STATEMENT
The Directors of Ingress are of the opinion that the above is in the best interest of the Ingress Group.
