We wish to inform you that we have consolidated our unit trusts and funds management companies of AmInvestment Services Berhad (“AIS”) and AmInvestment Management Sdn Bhd (“AIM”) respectively, effective 1 December 2014. This consolidation exercise will now be housed under a single entity, AmInvestment Services Berhad. This consolidated exercise has been approved by the Securities Commission Malaysia (“SC”), vide its letter dated 25 June 2014. The merger is implemented by way of AIM transferring the assets and liabilities relating to its business to AIS and we have obtained the vesting order from the High Court of Malaysia on 7 November 2014. In line with the above, AIS has obtained SC’s approval for the fund management activity and will be the investment management of the fund effective 1 December 2014. | |
